MEET THE BOARD

The board of the Pennsylvania Playhouse is made up entirely of volunteers. These members donate their time to help move the Playhouse forward.

    Parker has been involved in the theatre in various ways for just over a decade. Growing up in the Lehigh Valley and studying theatre at Northampton Community College and DeSales University, Parker has found a love for creating and collaborating on projects all around the Valley. Recently, Parker has directed with PA Playhouse and Star of the Day, as well as performing at Civic Theatre and Pines Dinner Theatre. Parker has also studied improv, both locally at Steel Stacks and in Chicago at Second City. 

    Parker is excited and humbled to be President at the Playhouse, and to continue creating a safe place for creativity and collaboration for the Lehigh Valley theatre community.

  • Jim was born and raised in Palmer Township and graduated from Easton High School, Northampton Community College, and Leland Powers School of Radio/Television Broadcasting in Boston, MA. He has appeared in dozens of community theatre dramas, comedies, and musical productions with the Town Square Players, Insomniak Theatre, Chansonnettes, NCC Summer Theatre, Easton Theatre Co-op, The PA Playhouse, and Pines Dinner Theatre.

    A veteran of over 100 TV commercials and corporate films in the Lehigh Valley, New York, and Philadelphia markets, Jim is also Director/Producer for the Easton Area High School Musical Theatre Program.

    Dan was born and raised in Nazareth. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Moravian University. He has spent the last 18 years working for the Commonwealth as an auditor and supervisor for the Department of Revenue. Prior to that, he worked in banking. 

    Dan currently serves on his church’s Endowment Committee. In past, he has served as financial secretary to a local fire company social club.

    Dan’s employment history and volunteer background will help him in the Treasurer role and be an asset to the organization.

  • Torez Mosley is a dynamic theatermaker and educator from Rahway, New Jersey. Torez honed her craft at the University of the Arts, earning a BFA in Directing, Playwriting, and Production. While there she served on the President’s Advisory Board, driving change and strengthening the relationship between the student body and the school board. Torez is passionate about contributing to the theatre in new and fresh ways, known for devising original pieces like HER: the female experience from birth to death, as well as reimagining classics like For Colored Girls by Ntozake Shange and The Maids by Jean Genet.

    Most recently, she directed Stick Fly here at the Pennsylvania Playhouse! Beyond directing, Torez has also brought her organizational skills to the PA Playhouse as Stage Manager for Our Lady of the Tortilla and the musical Cabaret. She is thrilled to continue contributing to the Pennsylvania Playhouse, a cherished institution and vital part of the Lehigh Valley arts community.

    Corinne has been involved with theatre for over 15 years. She graduated from Moravian University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in Theatre. While at Moravian, Corinne was very involved with the Moravian University Theatre Company, eventually becoming the Company Manager her senior year. She was also the President of Moravian’s Alpha Psi Omega chapter. Corinne has worn many hats throughout her career, taking on roles on and off the stage. From acting and directing to stagecraft and stage management, she has dedicated herself to every facet of the theatrical world. Corinne was previously the At Large Chair before stepping into the Production role.

    Corinne is enthusiastic about becoming the Playhouse’s Production Chair and is dedicated to ensuring the Playhouse’s continued success and fostering a vibrant theatre community in the Lehigh Valley.

    Andrew Maldonado has been in over 30 productions since the age of 13. He fell in love with theatre after that. During High School, he joined STC, where he was an assistant director and board member for three years. Once he finished High School, he studied theatre education and voice at DeSales University. While attending DeSales University, Andrew appeared on stage and behind the camera in multiple productions.

    Andrew has used the knowledge that he has learned from his vast theatre background and his small business, Caine Crafts, to help him with promoting and advertising. He is beyond excited to assist PA Playhouse as the Publicity Chair.

    Brett has been on The Playhouse’s Board since 2016 as the Technical Director. He works at Northampton Community College in their theater department. Also, he works on shows with MunOpCo, Swain School, Orefield Middle School, Northwestern Lehigh High School, and NCC Summer Theater here in PA, as well as Plymouth Regional High School and InterLakes Summer Theater in New Hampshire. When he’s not at the theater…. No… nevermind… he’s always at a theater.

    Jillian has been involved with theatre in the Lehigh Valley since 2016. While attending Moravian University, Jillian was a member of the MU Theatre Company. She performed on stage, attended workshops, and curated art exhibitions in the Allison Diamond Gallery to correspond with the theatre productions. Jillian became a member of the PA Playhouse in 2019, first performing in And Then There Were None. She subsequently appeared in productions such as 12 Angry Jurors and Kinky Boots. Recently, Jillian has enjoyed gaining experience behind the scenes to learn the responsibilities of stage management and production leadership roles.

    Stephen began his theater journey at Northampton Community College in 2018, where he immediately fell in love with performing. While there, he gained valuable experience both starring in productions as well as assisting with them behind the scenes. After finishing up at NCC, he began exploring the medium of voice acting, having been involved with both narration work and improv podcasts. He first got involved at the PA Playhouse in 2023, and found that the community presence was so incredible that he continued to be involved regularly in productions there, in both on and off stage roles.

    As the Volunteer and Membership, Stephen is excited to use his years of hospitality experience to extend that same warm, welcoming feeling of community to everyone that visits and hopes to be involved here at the PA Playhouse!

    Kathy Pacheco is a proud Bethlehem native.
    She comes from a l
    arge Puerto Rican family that is deeply connected to the Lehigh Valley community as business owners, church mentors, and leaders.

    Kathy is a director, producer, and local actor with a passion for fostering community through the arts. She has been involved in the performing arts since high school, took a break to raise her son, and returned to local theater in 2009. In 2015, she began performing in Philadelphia, specializing in drag and burlesque. In 2017, she founded an all-plus-size burlesque troupe, which remains the only troupe of its kind on the East Coast. As a creator and troupe producer, she is dedicated to building diverse casts that include BIPOC, POC, LGBTQ+, and persons with disabilities. Representation is a core value for Kathy, as she wants all people to see themselves on stage.

    Kathy previously served as the first DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging) Chair of the board, where she worked to create an inviting and inclusive space for all in the Lehigh Valley. She is now excited to step into the Development role, where she will help the playhouse grow and continue bringing powerful, talented local theater to the community.

    Salem (he/they) is a Puerto Rico native, calling Pennsylvania his home for over two decades. His love for theatre ignited full force when he began working on Freedom High School’s Wizard of Oz back in 2008 as a Freshman in which he became an apprentice in Set Design. Ever since, Salem has immersed himself head-on in all aspects of the theatre world, along with graduating from Northampton Community College with his Associates in Theatre Arts. As a Jack of All Trades, Salem has found his way into Reclaimed Performing Arts Company, ASR Media, Cedar Crest College, PA Playhouse, and Munopco to expand upon his 15 year-long career on stage, behind the scenes and film.

    Currently, he works at Wind Creek Bethlehem as their Bilingual Training Specialist. Salem hopes to bring his professional experience, as well as his years of experience within his various communities, to the Playhouse, serving as a new member of the board and second DEIB Chairperson. He is aiming high to make sure representation, inclusion and diversity are at the forefront in building a stronger, unified theatre community. Salem wants BIPOC, POC, LGBTQAI+, persons with disabilities, and others to find their welcoming space here at Pennsylvania Playhouse to grow and flourish to their fullest potential!

  • Jenelle Castrignano is proud to serve on the board of directors as the Education Chair at The Pennsylvania Playhouse, where she actively contributes her experience and insights to help further the theatre’s mission and impact in the community. 

    Jenelle is a passionate theatre artist, choreographer, director, and educator with a deep commitment to arts education. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts and a Dance Minor from Wilkes University, as well as a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Mansfield University.

    Her choreographic credits include Annie at Pennsylvania Youth TheatreSingin' in the Rain at Phillipsburg Summer Youth Theatre, and Bye Bye Birdie and The Little Mermaid at Nazareth Area High School. 

    This past summer, Jenelle directed James and the Giant Peach, Jr. at PYT and Annie KIDS at The Pennsylvania Playhouse.

    In addition to her directing and choreographing work, Jenelle teaches acting at PYT, where she helps young artists develop their skills, build confidence, and deepen their love for theatre. She also runs the Junior Players Program at The Pennsylvania Playhouse, where she provides a creative and nurturing space for emerging artists to explore their craft and connect with their peers.  

    When Jenelle is not at the theatre, she enjoys spending time with her 4 year old son Sawyer and her husband Michael.  Jenelle appreciates their support in allowing her to spend many evenings and weekends doing what she loves.
